My Life Before Copywriting:
I started my career by majoring in guitar playing. Not a wise career choice. Since then, I've done clerical temping at a lot of high-tech firms, was a proposal coordinator at Arthur D. Little, and wrote a construction newsletter.

After that I became a stay-at-home mom, an early childhood music & movement specialist (delightful work!), and a publicity coordinator for a local arts agency, before hanging out my shingle as a freelance copywriter.

This varied experience has allowed me to understand a wide variety of subject matter as a copywriter.
What Makes Me Different From Every Other Copywriter:
It’s funny, no matter what I write, my colleagues often say “I like your style, it’s soothing.” Soothing? What copywriter is soothing?

It doesn’t sound like the copywriting you probably hear about. And you may not be impressed. But don't be fooled. Many products and services are designed to help those who are distraught and truly need your help. Someone who feels that way won't find much comfort in a fire engine red headline that makes hard-to-believe promises.

If that person is your best customer, soothing copy is just what you - and your prospects - need.
